Assignment 5 Devlog 5: 2—Updates/planned updates based upon Testing Session
This devlog is based on the updates made based on the feedbacks by the testers on assingnment 3 game testing. The first fix made was almost the game testers said that my game was easy to play and it was true because it was barely done, now i made new scenes to generate so now the game is little difficult to play. A development made in the game was as the player went higher and higher the scenes below will be destroyed as the player went up. This is possible because there is a destroy level box attached to the player camera so when the clouds comes in contact it is destroyed.
Another fix made was score display after death, some testers said that the score display was little sometimes so i gave the required space so that the display is well seen by the user. A tester said that when the player is falling it never dies and continous to fall, so i created a death box and attached to the player camera so when the player falls and comes in contact with the death box the player will be destroyed.
These are the fixes made in my game based in the feedbacks given by the testers. Even i was able to test some cool games and these games was so much better than my game in terms of graphics, animation, and level of entertainment. The games i tested went above my expectations and i felt like i did my testing session well.
